How do they always know where you’re hiding? And when you find a snippet of quiet time to study God’s Word, why is it so hard to get focused? Well, the first question is answered in the video above (as if you didn’t already know the answer! You can thank my kids for the amazing acting skills). The second question will forever be a mystery of the universe. I think it’s some sort of sixth sense. And the third question? Well, its hard to get focused because we KNOW how little time we have but our minds are usually going in a million different directions!

The truth is, we want to spend time with God. We know it’ll grow our intimacy with Him and only strengthen our relationships with others. We know it’ll bring us more peace and help us have a more focused day. But its just. so. hard when we have kids!
